Up-and-coming designers of hospitality interiors to be honored at BDwest trade fair and conference, March 31–April 1 in Los Angeles

 

 

CINCINNATI, OH, January 28, 2016 – Boutique Design magazine has selected the eleventh annual Boutique 18, its yearly roster of noteworthy, on-the-rise designers in the hospitality industry. The 2016 honorees will be inducted during a ceremony preceding the fourth annual Boutique Design West (BDwest) trade fair and conference, March 31-April 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Honorees will be feted at the BDwest Opening Reception Celebrating the Boutique 18 on Wednesday, March 30, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, at the Conga Room at LA Live.

Honorees will also take part in a panel discussion, “Meet the Boutique 18,” to be held Friday, April 1, 3:45 – 4:45 PM, at BDwest. Each designer’s achievements will also be profiled in the March issue of Boutique Design magazine.

“This year’s Boutique 18 have worked on an astonishing variety of cutting-edge projects around the globe—in fact, three of the winners are based overseas,” says Matthew Hall, editor of Boutique Design and moderator of the April 1 panel discussion.

The BDwest conference program runs concurrently with the two-day trade fair, which is expanding for 2016 to accommodate 40,000 sf of exhibit space. More than 2,500 hospitality design professionals from the western U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, Latin America and beyond are expected to attend BDwest, including interior designers, architects and purchasing executives as well as hospitality owners and operators.

Registration options for BDwest 2016 include: Exhibit hall pass for attendees, $50 ($75 after March 4); exhibit hall pass for non-exhibiting manufacturers or manufacturer reps, $300; two-day conference session pass, $175; and one-day conference session pass, $100.

Founding Chapter’s Hospitality Fashion Challenge: Design in a Box Fashion Runway & Cocktail Reception on Thursday, March 31, at Exchange LA; and the Boutique Design Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality Breakfast & Panel Discussion on Friday, April 1, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
