Fast-growing Boutique Design New York trade fair and conference to draw 7,000+ hospitality designers, architects, purchasing executives, owners and operators to the Javits Center, Nov. 13-14
CINCINNATI, OH, June 15, 2016 – Attendee registration is underway for Boutique Design New York (BDNY), the East Coast trade fair and conference for hospitality design professionals, to be held Nov. 13-14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Now in its seventh year, BDNY has seen double-digit growth each year since its 2010 debut, garnering recognition in Trade Show Executive (TSE) magazine’s annual ranking of the 50 Fastest-Growing Shows for three consecutive years.
This year BDNY will expand to 100,000 square feet of exhibit space, with 600+ manufacturers and marketers of furniture, fixtures, lighting, seating, wall coverings, accessories and other design elements for hospitality interiors.
More than 7,000 hospitality design professionals from the eastern United States, Canada and Europe are expected to attend BDNY, including interior designers, architects and purchasing executives as well as hospitality owners and operators.
“BDNY continues to experience phenomenal growth, a testament to the current strength of our industry and the incredible support of the hospitality community,” said Michelle Finn, president of Hospitality Media Group (HMG), which produces BDNY and sister trade fair BDwest, also a TSE Fastest 50 honoree.
Held concurrently with HX: The Hotel Experience (formerly IHMRS), the BDNY trade fair combines inventive elements for hospitality interiors with signature educational and social events; NYC design tours; unique, on-floor Designed Spaces created by leading hospitality design firms; and an extensive conference program with CEU sessions, hands-on demos and interactive discussions with industry innovators.
The two-day event culminates with the annual Gold Key Awards Gala, sponsored by Boutique Design magazine. Winners of the 36th Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design, as well as Designer of the Year, will be announced at the gala, Nov. 14 at the Waldorf Astoria, New York. Gold Key Award entries will be accepted through July 8, 2016. Entry information is available at bdny.com.
