Rossana Orlandi and Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni launch the 2023 edition of Ro Plastic Prize, the worldwide challenge of RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC. For this fifth edition, the Ro Plastic Prize introduces three new categories.

The Ro Plastic Prize 2023 categories include: Art and Collectible Design, Emerging High Technology, and Inspiring Learning Projects. The selected finalist projects will be on exhibit during the Milano Design Week from April 16 to 23, 2023.

The International Jury composed of professionals and experts will select the winners, one for each category, who will receive a prize of EUR 10,000 during the Award Ceremony (date to be confirmed) during Milano Design Week 2023.

Conceived and founded by Rossana Orlandi and her daughter Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, the project starts from their conviction that Plastic is not guilty. RoGUITLESSPLASTIC’s purpose is to inspire the international creative community to design more responsibly by creating works with reused, recycled and upcycled plastic.

The project proposes a series of events during the various Milano Design Weeks. The most significant of these is the Ro Plastic Prize that, in the course of its editions, has focused its attention on the re-Waste of all materials, actively involving designers, innovators, entrepreneurs, startuppers, changemakers, creators, scientists, researchers, developers, schools, universities, industry and communication experts who are passionate about making an extraordinary impact.

For the 2023 edition, the categories of the Ro Plastic Prize, personally curated by Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, focus on the need to support and address the technological developments of the circular economy derived from re-Waste and its benefits for safeguarding the Planet.
