April 5, 2018 – Fashion Challenge at BDWest – This BDwest signature event is the culmination of an utterly unique, annual design competition benefiting NEWH. In this year’s finale, 16 leading design-firm teams unveiled couture fashions crafted from scraps of tile, carpet and other reusable design elements donated by BDwest exhibitors.
Attendees mixed, mingled and cheered for their favorite “garments” to victory as they were modeled, runway style, then judged and auctioned on the former trading floor of L.A.’s Pacific Coast Stock Exchange—now a Historic Cultural Landmark Building, a spectacular nightclub, which was the perfect venue for this celebration of creativity and ingenuity.
