Job Description

The Regional Sales Representative ensures current clients have the right product and services, identifies new markets and customer leads, and pitches prospective customers within the Pacific Northwest region.

Location: Must live in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho

The role directly reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Melissa Janssen.

Overarching Objectives of this Role

  • To achieve the revenue targets set by the sales managers
  • Increase units sold and boost profit margins
  • Increase the number of Leads Qualified

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships
  • Generate leads
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing /potential clients to meet their need
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Preparing reports on client’s needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
  • Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
  • Meet with clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote our products and services
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
  • Maintaining client records

Attributes, Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ work experience as a Regional Sales Representative in the hospitality industry
  • Must have excellent communication, follow-up, and documentation skills
  • Must process strong personal integrity and have excellent interaction skills
  • Must be an intelligent, professional, and independent thinker
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a larger team when needed
