Our hospitality studio is focused on restaurant, hotel, club, amenity, and select residential projects with services ranging from architecture, interiors, branding, environmental graphics, furniture procurement, art selection, styling and accessories. Our team works remotely on Mondays/Fridays with collaborative time team in our studio on Tues./Wed./Thursday each week.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Interior Design or Architecture degree from college or university accredited by (CIDA), (NASAD) and/or Education (FIDER).
  • NCIDQ Certification desired.
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience as an Interior Designer with a preferred emphasis on hospitality design.

The Essentials.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an active and contributing Team Member on multiple and concurrent hospitality projects, with the intent of becoming a Project Lead/Assistant Project Manager to manage consultants, client, and internal teams.
  • Provide design and documentation leadership, as applicable, and support for completion/execution of design concepts on various projects, as assigned.

Intangible Abilities & Skills:

  • Continues to develop an understanding in ALL phases of design and how to Execute Design.
  • Ability to document and communicate design concepts both two and 3-dimensionally as well as develop the design story, per ai3’s standards.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with product representatives for product samples, appropriateness of products, and technical data.
  • Developing ability to document design concepts with programs such as, but not limited to:
    • REVIT
    • ENSCAPE
    • PHOTOSHOP
    • INDESIGN
    • SPEXX
    • MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE
