MatchLine Design Group is seeking a talented, full-time Designer to join their tightly-knit and dynamic Design Team! Based in Dallas, we are an award-winning design firm specializing in Hospitality and Multi-Family projects located throughout the country.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design – 1 to 3 years of Hospitality and/or Multi-Family Design experience
  • Possesses a desired path to achieve NCIDQ-Certification
  • Collaborative and Team-oriented, interactive, reliable, well-organized and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong eye for detail, creativity and style
  • Enjoys collaboration in an open, solution-oriented team atmosphere
  • Proven ability to prioritize and demonstrate efficiency in time-management skills as well as schedule adjustments
  • A growing proficiency and thoroughness in working simultaneously on multiple projects at various stages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, while developing the ability to articulate design ideas and to tactfully accept any potential critiques
  • Developing adept skills for writing FF&E specifications, along with an understanding of construction documents and preparing & coordinating ID drawing sets
  • Developing an understanding of conceptual ideas through to budgeting and to specifications, ensuring continuity throughout project’s timeline
  • Ability to positively and professionally interact with varying personalities between project consultants and at certain levels of Clientele
  • Demonstrate ability to be proactive and is productive with varying levels of autonomy when called upon
  • Evolving knowledge of various hotel Brands and their respective standards a plus but not required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe, PowerPoint, Word and MS Outlook. Experience with Spexx a plus
  • Preferred artistic skills using either Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up, hand sketching and the like
