Job Description: Interior Designer | Multi-Family Studio

Are you a talented Interior Designer with a passion for creating stunning spaces? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our award-winning team and contribute to our exciting multi-family projects. As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting environments that captivate and inspire.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager on multiple projects, providing valuable design insights and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Expertise: Possess a strong sense of design, encompassing knowledge of the design process, space planning, furniture, finishes, materials, and color selections.

Coordinate: Assemble and coordinate working construction documents, working closely with architect and client’s engineering team. Assist with construction administration.

Trend Awareness: Stay current and continually update your knowledge of the latest interior design trends, as well as being well-versed in available design resources.

Vendor Coordination: Coordinate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, fabricators, and various industry trade partners. Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Keep all team members informed and up-to-date throughout all phases of a project.

Furnishings and Accessories: Source and select all interior furnishings and accessories, curating spaces that reflect style and sophistication.

Team Collaboration: Thrive in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently on projects.

Organization: Maintain a high level of organization, paying meticulous attention to detail, and consistently meeting project deadlines.

Professionalism: Uphold a professional, kind, and friendly demeanor when working with clients, colleagues, and partners.

Adaptability: Enjoy working in an energetic, fun, and fast-paced team environment where multitasking is part of everyday life.

Travel: Be willing and able to travel out of state for client presentations and project installations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer (2+ years in a related position), with a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency and strong skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Sketch Up
  • Multi-family design experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of current industry trends and resources.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A willingness to adapt and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and project installations.

Pay:

  • Starting at $22.00 per hour for entry level
