“The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Its Impact on Public Space”
CEU Course Description:
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 is one of the most misunderstood elements of commercial design. Failing to design for ADA creates health and safety issues for the disabled and liability concerns for designers and owners. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to confidently discuss requirements with a client so all parties can make informed decisions.

- Review layout requirements related to space management and traffic patterns.

Jordan McInturf is the vice president of sales for Shelby Williams, a premier manufacturer of furniture for the hospitality industry. For the past eight years Jordan has been the Vice President of Sales for Shelby Williams with responsibility for sales & marketing, national account programs, and product development. In 2016 Jordan was appointed as an Ambassador on the NEWH Board of Directors, a position he currently holds.
